Bruno Reagan - Head Judo Instructor
A multi-time National and International Judo Champion, Sensei Bruno Reagan has made a name for himself as the top Judo athlete to ever come out of the state of Tennessee.
Starting Judo at 3 years old, he now holds over 20 years of experience being one of the youngest athletes to ever be promoted to Black Belt at the age of 15 before competing and being one of only two USA Judo athletes to make it to the Round of 8 at the 2011 Cadet Judo World Championships.
A multi-sport athlete, Sensei Reagan was a Wrestling USA All-American, 2x undefeated TSSAA wrestler, and was an All-SEC football player at his alma mater Vanderbilt University. Sensei Reagan has also spent time with the NFL in the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers organizations. Most recently Reagan was an All-XFL performer with the St. Louis Battlehawks franchise.
Reagan started training BJJ alongside Judo in June of 2020 and received his Brown Belt under Prof. Kenny Cross. He won the IBJJF Pan Am Championships at Ultra-Heavyweight and the Absolute division in 2020. The highest-level tournament of the year for his rank and age.
Mackel Reagan - International Level USA Judo Coach
Sensei Mackel Reagan is a Yon-dan (4th-degree black belt) in Judo and Jujitsu and has over 25 years of Martial Arts training in a wide range of martial arts and freestyle fighting.
Reagan holds a Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance with emphasis in Sports Administration, Public Health, and Exercise Science.
He is a certified International level coach and has coached more national and international medalists than any judo coach in the state of Tennessee. He has served as a Pan Am and World team coach along with being a Kata instructor and regional level referee. He currently servers as a member of the Board of Directors for the United States Judo Association.
Reagan is a graduate of Austin Peay State University (GO PEAY) where he was a member of the Governors' football team and received his BS and MS degrees.
William Robles - Competiton Team Coach & USA Judo National Level Coach
William Robles is an active duty soldier in the United States Army.
He is a 3rd generation Judoka who started Judo at the age of 7. He earned his 1st Dan under the affiliation at LA Tenri Judo Club in 2015 under Sensei Takahashi Tokuzo.
William holds a BJJ Blue Belt under Prof. Paulo Hazze of Gazze Academy in Huntington Beach California. William has competed in regional and national level tournaments since 2011.
He has a strong passion for strength and conditioning as well as he actively trains and competes in CrossFit competitions.
Overall William holds Judo close to his heart along side his strong passion for athletic.
Kenny Cross - Murfreesboro Coach
Kenny is the owner and head instructor of our affiliate gym in Murfreesboro, TN. He is a 1st degree blackbelt in BJJ and over the last 6 years, when he’s not conditioning for tournaments, he has coached kids and adults in their competitions.
He is consistently working with students individually to ensure that they challenge themselves and grow within the sport.
Kenny is also a black belt in Judo. He has found that Judo’s stand-up game is a perfect cross-over to train alongside BJJ.
Kenny is a coach that competes regularly as he believes that competing himself is the best way to lead by example. He competes every chance he gets, whether at local tournaments or internationally with IBJJF.
He welcomes everyone to the sport, and if you ever find yourself at a tournament without a coach, don’t be afraid to grab him for support. Kenny is also a certified personal trainer and nutritionist.
